The Project
The challenge was to create a poster series advertisement campaign. My chosen clients were communicate the partnership between Alaska Airlines and Hawaiian Airlines without losing the individuality of either brand. The campaign was required to feel unified, memorable, and strategic.
The Action
During research, I discovered their recent merger under a company, becoming the foundation of the concept. The idea emerged quickly: merge the spirit of Alaska and Hawaii in humorous, hyper-real scenarios. I art-directed AI-generated imagery and refined the compositions inPhotoshop, ensuring that the final visuals felt purposeful.
The Result:
The campaign balanced two distinct brand personalities into one cohesive message. It expanded my understanding of AI as an art direction tool rather than a shortcut. It also taught me that sometimes strong ideas arrive intuitively, and trusting that instinct is part of being a designer.
